The Clubs prestige premier event. The 'Spoon' has been played for since 1976 and adornes our main entrance lobby wall.
This 36-hole scratch event traditionally was one of the early season openers in the acclaimed Yorkshire Order of Merit. In recent years it moved to become one of the normal club competitions.
In 2023 it returns to its rightful place as one of the premier scratch events in Yorkshire and the North of England. As part of the Yorkshire and Northern Order of Merits.

This scratch event is so popular that a ballot is usually taken once booked, so please book early.
First prize of £500 is up for grabs with prizes alongside 2nd and 3rd with prizes for the best AM and PM rounds (only one prize per winner)
