If you are looking for friendly competitive golf where everyone is made welcome, the Tigers section will provide you with some extra enjoyment and a high standard of golf.
Join a section that is inclusive, open to new ideas & suggestions to enhance all our experiences at Selby Golf Club. All members 0-15 Hcp have an open invitation to all events so please come and put your ideas forward join our section, attend our meetings and get involved.
ALL TIGERS COMPETITIONS PLAY FROM WHITE TEES

1. Competitions: Enter & register in the Pro Shop.
• Infosoil Trophy Singles Match play
• Nilos Trophy Doubles Match play
• Captains Trophy top 16 from winter swans enter into a summer knockout
• Clegg Cup over 55s Medal
• Under 55s trophy to be held on the same day as the Clegg Cup
• Medal Competitions throughout the year

2. Tigers Open last Sunday in July:
Scratch & Nett Medal Open invite a guest Maximum Hcp 15 playing for the Duggan Scratch Cup & Gateforth Nett Cup

3. Tigers Captains Sunday Driver: Early June
Away overnighter to prestigious venues.

4. Interclub fixtures:
Waterton Park GC, Scarborough SC, Garforth GC, Bradford GC, Headingly GC, Cleckheaton GC
Fixtures are played in a very enjoyable competitive 4bbb format.

5. Tigers Honours Board:
Section members' competitions include singles match play, doubles match play, Captains Trophy, Engelhart Putter Centenary best gross, Clegg cup, Tigers open best nett & gross all of which have Tigers honours board recognition.

6. Away Day Open Competitions:
Throughout the year the Tigers organise away days to Open Competitions usually in team formats these will be posted on SGC events pages and Tigers notice board.
